ITINERARY

DAY 1

Pick-up from Medan / Kualanamu Airport / hotel (optional), followed by a scenic drive to Bukit Lawang. Meet our local jungle guide for a short briefing before starting the trek.

Meet your local jungle guide for a short briefing. If you arrive in the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore Bukit Lawang village, relax by the river, enjoy the stunning scenery, and breathe in the cool mountain air.

Overnight at our guesthouse.

DAY 2

After breakfast, start jungle trekking into Gunung Leuser National Park.

Trek through pristine rainforest trails while searching for orangutans and other wildlife. Learn about tropical plants and jungle ecology from your experienced guide.

Lunch in the jungle. Continue trekking deeper into the forest.

In the late afternoon, arrive at the jungle campsite, enjoy dinner, and overnight camping in the jungle.

DAY 3

After breakfast at the campsite, continue trekking deeper into untouched rainforest areas.

Spend the day exploring remote jungle routes with maximum chances of wildlife encounters.

Lunch in the jungle. In the late afternoon, return to the campsite for dinner and a second night of jungle camping.

DAY 4

After breakfast in the jungle, trek towards the edge of the national park.

Enjoy lunch in the jungle before walking to the river for a traditional jungle river tubing experience, a fun and refreshing way to exit the jungle.

Return to Bukit Lawang to relax by the riverside and enjoy the peaceful village atmosphere.

Overnight at our guesthouse.

DAY 5

After breakfast at the guesthouse, enjoy free time until transfer.

Transfer back to Medan city or Kualanamu International Airport.
